situation in Europe, but they also must
have a thorough understanding of the
environmental conditions in other continents.
CalRecovery
Europe was formed in 1999 in response
to the increasing demand in Europe and
elsewhere for specialized expertise
in waste management and other environmental
services. The Directors of the UK-based
consultancy are Professor Ed Stentiford,
Dr. Luis F. Diaz and Mr. Efstathios
Papadimitriou.
The
company offers a broad range of services
in the solid waste management and environmental
services sector and is uniquely placed
to offer a consultancy service to clients
through the considerable and combined
experience gained in the UK and overseas.
The range of services includes project
management, feasibility studies, technical
assistance, research and development
studies, and the development of waste
management plans to an international
market.
Members
of CalRecovery Europe are actively involved
in the ORBIT Association, and in editing
its quarterly journal, Bioprocessing
of Solid Waste & Sludge. The
journal is published online and specializes
in organic waste management and solid
waste bioprocessing.
